About Me
Unlock Your Inner Calm
As a respected Yoga Instructor based in Dorset, my main goal is to lead others down the long path of discovery that yoga provides. Whether you want to be stronger, more flexible, or both, or become calmer and more present, I know you’ll benefit from my practice.
I first discovered yoga in my late teens and it has always been there. But a serious knee injury and difficult times for my family led me to a wonderful mentor who inspired me to practice daily and encouraged me to sign-up for teacher training. It was transformational for me.

My teacher is Ruth White - you can never stop learning. She herself fell at the feet of a Master: B. K. S. Iyengar, and has spent her lifetime spreading the yoga faith. A grand dame of British yoga, she has taught many of us to not only learn the discipline and underpinning theories, but to also intuitively and empathetically understand and feel what is needed.

Having the chance to share all that I’ve learned along the way with others fills me with joy. Something I know for sure is that everyone could use more yoga in their lives.
Yoga Practice
I have been teaching for 2 years, have completed my 200 hour and 500 hour certification.
(I am insured & hold a first-aid certificate)
I have practiced Karuna, Hatha, Iyengar, Astanga, Yin, Hot and Dynamic Flow yoga. The yoga I teach and practice is a blend of this. I tailor every class and individual session to current needs to help you find balance, strength, and serenity within.

I look forward to sharing and supporting you on your yoga journey with compassion.

Yoga is Self Care
I hold mixed ability classes suitable for beginners to more advanced & everything in between! Everyone is welcome!

Yoga is not just a physical practice; it's a journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and self-love.
Through the practice of asanas (positions) we can learn to fully focus our minds on not only where our bodies are in space, but also importantly our breath. This centred focus allows our minds to fall quiet, bringing us back to our natural state of balance in the present moment, preventing us dwelling on the past or future - which is such a freedom!
After an hour of yoga our minds, body and breath learn to come into harmony and we walk out relaxed and energised.

I hope to give you this hour every week - by offering a space for us to stretch, gain strength, let go and relax.

Wherever you are on your yoga journey, I will help you focus on alignment, breath, and proper technique which will help reconnect and rejuvenate your body.

I can come to your home or workplace and offer individual or small group sessions where we can dive deeper into alignment, breath and technique for a more holistic experience.

Bi-weekly dynamic strength training slow-flow
Once this yoga community is established I hope to add a bi-weekly dynamic strength training slow-flow. This will be a strong practice for those who would like a challenge and are interested in building their core strength and stamina for more advanced asanas.
